Busser/Dish Machine Operator
This is considered one of the most important jobs at the Winking Lizard Tavern. Bussers and Dish Machine Operators impact every department and guest within the restaurant as they maintain the quality and cleanliness of our taverns. This position requires good attention to detail, continuous mobility, heavy lifting, and bending.

Host
A host is the first and last impression of our tavern. Our hosts greet guests as they come to the Lizard and make many new friends while they are here. The host maintains the overall flow of the restaurant right from the front door. Successful candidates will have a clean, professional image and a friendly, upbeat personality. Requires continuous mobility and good attention to detail.

Expo/Food Runner
Do you like taking the lead? Creating an environment of fun and motivation? At the Lizard, our expo team drives the intensity in our kitchens, while making sure every plate of food that leaves the window meets our high quality standards. You can be sure you will take pride in the food you are serving and have a great time in a fast paced environment. Requires excellent attention to detail and communication, continuous mobility, and some heavy lifting.

Line/Prep Cook
If you have what it takes to hang in the “window” or on the “wheel”, enjoy being in the weeds, and would love a job that gets your adrenaline pumping, then this is the position for you. Our kitchen staff is challenged, rewarded, and is given the chance to be their best. At the Lizard, you’ll take pride in our kitchen standards, as you prepare food made fresh in our kitchen. The results are great American food with a variety of tastes and flavors. Requires continuous mobility, some heavy lifting, and bending.

Server
At the Lizard you’ll earn consistent tips from our regulars and serve food that you are proud of. Our servers are personable, high energy people who love taking care of guests. The Winking Lizard’s company policy requires that anyone employed as a server must be 21 years of age or older.

Bartender
Our bartenders take center stage in our taverns as they promote quality beer and good conversation with our regulars. Lizard bartenders understand the difference between mediocre service and being the bartender everyone comes to see. Knowledge of beer, liquor, and wine is a must. We are Cleveland’s premier sports bar. The Winking Lizard’s company policy requires that anyone employed as a bartender must be 21 years of age or older.

Catering
Our BBQ Crew has cookouts with friends and gets paid to do it! Our BBQ Crew caters in all seasons, rain or shine. During events you would load and unload catering trucks, set up of grills, tents, and banquet tables, and provide legendary Lizard service to guests. To be a part of this crew you have to be dependable, have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and food. Must have weekend availability! If you have what it takes, this position would be your invite to a season of parties!
