Some restaurants have signature dishes. Some have traditions. And then there are dishes that quietly become part of your personality. The first Winking Lizard Tavern opened in 1983 on Miles Road in Bedford Heights, Ohio, and somehow, decades later, one of the things capable of making me forget every other item on the menu is the spinach dip. Now, I cannot officially confirm exactly how long this glorious green masterpiece has been on the menu, but judging by the way it has earned its place among the legendary "Reptizers," I'm convinced people have been gathering around this dip for decades. Families have probably celebrated birthdays over it. Friendships have been strengthened by it. Arguments have temporarily stopped because someone said, "Wait… pass me another chip." And honestly? I understand. This isn't one of those sad little appetizers you politely taste once before moving on to the main event. The spinach dip IS an event. Creamy, warm, rich, ridiculously addictive, and dangerous in the sense that you tell yourself, "Just one more bite," approximately seventeen times. You know the food is good when the table suddenly gets quiet. That's the spinach dip effect. Conversations pause. Eye contact becomes unnecessary. Everyone is focused on the important business at hand: making sure nobody takes the last scoop. Winking Lizard has been around since 1983, and after experiencing this dip, I have a theory: civilization may have changed, hairstyles may have changed, and gas prices have definitely changed… but some things are worth preserving. 🦎🏆 If the Winking Lizard spinach dip has truly been a Reptizers staple for decades, then I would like to personally thank every person who had the wisdom to keep it around. Five stars. Ten chips. Zero regrets. Actually, one regret. I didn't order two.

Fall off the bone and seasoned to perfection with a sweet savory sauce! This is a go to meal for me that never disappoints! It comes with two sides and the best little cheesy garlic bread! Highly recommend!!!
